The present work was created as part of an elective course focusing on the development of a concept related to "Health and Well-being in Vehicles of the Future." In the course of our collaboration with "Gravity Sketch," we had the unique opportunity to utilize their VR modeling software to visually realize and vividly present our project.
Concept

My present concept is based on the vision of autonomous electric vehicles in the year 2100 that are intended to utilize a rail system for long distances. It is of paramount importance that these vehicles seamlessly transition between rail usage and conventional road usage to achieve more precise destinations.  Under the name "FutureBug," I present my concept to Volkswagen, aiming to design your vehicles within this forward-looking environment.
Exterieur

In the realm of the exterior design, I have chosen to reconsider the conventional form of the automobile and develop an entirely new shape for the FutureBug. This concept envisions the FutureBug riding on two large wheels that encompass the entire frame and are powered by two electric motors each. Moreover, magnetic modules have been integrated beneath the vehicle, enabling the FutureBug to hover over rails while simultaneously being charged with energy. Entry and exit into the FutureBug are facilitated through a large front window, which can be raised upward as needed to grant access.
Interieur

Inside the FutureBug, passengers are provided with a spacious front area for interactions, as well as the opportunity to recline and enjoy a certain level of privacy, as the seating areas are designed to be spatially separated. In this concept, deliberate consideration has been given to forgo the integration of conventional displays, as it is assumed that by the year 2100, chip implants have become commonplace. This allows the entire interface and vehicle control to be directly operated by the passenger.
Interieur

The seats in the Future Bug are equipped with built-in air capsules. As soon as a passenger takes a seat, the air cushions automatically adjust to their needs. This ensures the perfect seating position, and supports such as armrests can be individually adapted to provide the highest level of comfort.
Furthermore, it is possible to vary the seating position from a regular sitting posture to a reclined position, catering to the different preferences and needs of the passengers.
Rework

Thanks to my newly acquired skills in using Gravity Sketch, I have decided to further develop and visualize my concept. In doing so, I have particularly emphasized the larger front window, which simplifies entry and exit while also serving as an appealing design element.Additionally, I have made changes to the lines and contours in various areas to make the overall appearance of the Future Bug even more dynamic and aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, new ideas have been implemented to optimize both the functionality and aesthetics of the vehicle.
Rework

The lighting in the FutureBug offers a completely personalized control system through the light strips. All incorporated LEDs have the ability to move, thus illuminating specific areas within the vehicle precisely, whether it's a book, the newly added table, or the entire interior, according to the passengers' desires and preferences.
Thanks to this innovative lighting technology, each passenger can adjust the illumination according to their discretion, thereby creating a pleasant atmosphere.
Final Product

To conclude the VR scenario, I presented the final version of the FutureBug. Below, you'll find a quick walkthrough of my VR presentation, which I enhanced using Twinmotion to depict the concept even more impressively and realistically. The original version of the presentation in presentation mode is available on YouTube.  The revised VR presentation using Twinmotion allowed me to visualize the futuristic design of the FutureBug in a 3D environment.
